STILL – A brand profile with a high success factor

STILL takes second place in the Readers’ and Experts’ Choice of “Best Logistics Brand”

The Readers’ and Experts’ Choice of “Best Logistics Brand” was brought to life for the first time by the logistics magazine Logistics Today and the German Logistics Association e.V. (BVL) during a dazzling Awards Night at the Bertelsmann representative offices in the heart of Berlin on 20th April 2016. More than 170 brands in eleven categories were available for selection. The Hamburg based company STILL GmbH took second place in the Industrial Trucks and Automated Guided Vehicles category.

Management Board Chairman Dr. Henry Puhl received the prize on behalf of STILL.

The winners were chosen by Logistics Today readers and members of the BVL. The categories assessed covered all the major areas of logistics. The intention of the selection was to determine which brands are esteemed most highly by supply chain managers, logistics managers and experts. The brands nominated were those achieving the biggest sales in Germany and who are relevant to the market.

Management Board Chairman Dr. Henry Puhl received the prize on behalf of STILL. During the event, Dr. Puhl said: “I am delighted with the award, and I am proud that we have been able to build up a strong brand like STILL through trust-based brand management, customer-oriented innovations and the awareness that employees are always brand ambassadors. Our clearly defined brand strategy is aimed at giving investment decision-makers orientation and certainty regarding return on investment.”

According to Dr. Puhl, STILL focusses its brand messages on the entire market and on three target groups: heads of finance, logistics managers and drivers. The perception of the STILL brand is queried repeatedly to bring it into harmony with customers’ requirements. Dr. Puhl explained that “Analyses confirm a significant correlation between the emotional image of a brand and a clear perception of brand benefits – STILL is system-oriented, customized, user-friendly, prepared, future-proof, committed and cooperative.”

STILL, a premium brand belonging to the KION Group, constantly develops intelligent solutions for its customers’ logistics needs. In this respect, STILL focuses on the cutting-edge fields of electric forklift trucks, fleet management, automation and autonomy. Through new product developments STILL takes consistent account of developments such as Industry 4.0, autonomous driving and the Internet of Things. An example of this is the recently presented STILL iGo neo CX 20, the world’s first autonomous industrial truck for order picking.
