A real help: STILL MMS.i in the cabin.Computer guided material flow management systems need a robust on-board terminal suitable for the task. Key pad and display have to withstand rough treatment in everyday internal transport. The backlight of the display helps the operator to read the display easily at any time facilitating work with the terminal. The Lambda*4S.i/4L.i connects the truck to the computer controlling the flow of material in the warehouse. Transport jobs are indicated directly in the cabin. Picking up goods, inventories and other transactions can be booked online. The Lambda*4S.i/4L.i is a safe, space saving and robust solution for mobile online communication.
Depending on the application of the truck, additional STILL components can be integrated in the workspace:
Barcode scanner with suitable scanning range and sturdiness
RFID readers/antennas
Mobile printers to label goods and/or loading aids and - usually not visible - net filters and voltage converters to ensure reliable operation of the data terminal.

MMS HARDWAREThe term hardware in the context of the STILL Material flow Management System is a collective name for all components combined to a full system together with the software. On one hand hardware is everything having to do with computing and networks - workstations, server, radio components - and periphery e.g. data terminals, label printers and scanners on the other hand. Hardware also includes components such as transponders (RFID), mobile workspaces for goods received and for order picking.
THE LAMBDA*4X.I The Lambda*4S.i or 4L.i. works on the 802.11a / b radio data transmission standard and is thus compatible with all Radio Data Transfer systems common to this standard.
On-Line and Mobile. Intralogistic systems need a durable and task adapted terminal on board the truck – for all applications. The keyboard and display must operate reliably in the warehouse, factory or yard.
The Display.
A standard TFT colour display is available. The high resolution makes it easy to read even complex screen displays.
The Keyboards.
Sturdy keyboards with large metal keys ensure safe operation and high reliability. With tactile feedback, the operator “feels” the keys operate. A ‘touch screen’ variant is available as an option, as is an editing keyboard with or without ‘Trackball’ or a mouse, as required.
Installation.
Mounting systems for all truck types. Central connection to EHI standard.
Extras
Common stationary terminal functions and host applications are made available mobile by common emulations and the Lambda*4S.i/4L.i terminal.
