Eight times yes to a charity run

The Poland Business Run Foundation has been organizing the charity run since 2012, with funds obtained thanks to the event going towards comprehensive assistance for people with physical disabilities. The profits from the teams' entry fees for participating in the 5x4 km relay race support the purchase of rehabilitation, prostheses, modern wheelchairs, etc. This way, the Foundation helps its beneficiaries engage in previously unavailable activities.

Eight STILL Polska 5-person teams participated in the Poland Business Run 2023. Forty company employees mobilized to collectively run 160 km for a good cause on September 3. The Foundation thus got several thousand zlotys for start packages for eight teams. – Helping those in need is natural for STILL Polska and our employees. As a company, we support charitable initiatives both in the form of in-kind assistance - by lending forklifts for unloading donations or medicines - and financially, for example, by buying starting packages, as was the case with the Poland Business Run – says Agnieszka Grocholska, Director of Human Resources at STILL Polska. – Our employees are and have been eager to become volunteers, such as when supporting refugees from Ukraine or every year as part of the Szlachetna Paczka campaign. I am glad that as many as forty STILL people were willing to participate in the Poland Business Run 2023. Thanks to them, we had the opportunity to support the Foundation eight times. Thank you very much to everyone who wanted to get involved this way and help people with physical disabilities in effect – she adds.
