Order picking is a particularly labour-intensive process. STILL's bin-to-person solutions reduce walking distances and automate processes efficiently – ideal for distribution centres, fulfilment warehouses and e-commerce hubs. KLT containers, cartons and other containers are transported directly to employees' workplaces. The solution is highly flexible and scalable, as the modules (racking system, bin picker, bin mover and station) can be combined and expanded as required
- Maximise picking rates: Compared to manual picking, orders can be completed up to four times faster by minimising walking distances. This enables up to 500 items to be picked per hour.

The STILL Bin-to-Person storage system has a modular design. The components can be flexibly combined to meet different requirements in terms of storage capacity and performance.
- Storage Area
Different storage densities are possible with different types of grippers selected for the vertical picking robot. - Outbound Stations
Ergonomically designed picking stations receive bins automatically, enabling fast and accurate order fulfillment with minimal manual intervention. - Inbound Stations
Dedicated inbound stations facilitate the smooth receipt and processing of incoming goods, enabling SKUs (stock keeping units) to be quickly replenished and bins to be stored and tracked within the system. - Chargers
Strategically placed charging stations keep all robots powered and operational, supporting continuous workflow and minimising downtime. - Maintenance Area
Enables routine servicing and rapid troubleshooting for robots, ensuring maximum system reliability and uptime. Robots can be moved to this area for maintenance without affecting the system's operation.

Racking system and Bin Picker
Bins can be stored on racks in this area up to a height of 12 metres. Storage can be single-, double- or multi-deep.
Mobile Bin Picker: AMRs that freely navigate warehouse floors and move vertically inside racking to retrieve totes or cartons.
Rail-based Bin Picker: Robots that move on fixed rails mounted on the racking structure itself, retrieving totes to the buffer area.
Workstation
Bin-to-Person workstations are highly scalable and flexible and can be tailored to specific customer operational needs. They support both item-level picking and full tote inbound and outbound processes. Mixed workstation concepts are also possible, enabling the handling of containers, shelves, and pallets within the same station.
One integrated platform
Efficiently handle small, medium, and large items within a single, integrated platform. The system supports flexible mixed storage – including totes, cartons, shelves, and pallets – across various layouts, all centrally coordinated.
Bin Mover
AMR for bin transport between the racking system and the workstation – with a maximum speed of up to 4.5 m/s.
AMRs for shelf and pallet transport
Autonomous mobile robots such as STILL’s AXH iGo and ACH iGo series are small, manoeuvrable and intelligent underride vehicles that operate flexibly and proactively in complex warehouse structures.
