STILL supports the postponement of the HANNOVER MESSE and considers participation in July

„A reasonable decision“

Hamburg, March 04, 2020 - Health comes first. For this reason, Deutsche Messe AG today announced the postponement of the HANNOVER MESSE to July 13, 2020. The reason for the postponement is the increasing spread of the corona virus worldwide and the associated health and safety concerns on the part of the organisers and the responsible authorities. STILL currently examines whether it will be possible to realise their trade fair programme on the alternative date.

"The people we work with and for are always the first priority for STILL. Therefore we can well understand the decision not to hold an international industry meeting of this size at the present time", comments Thomas A. Fischer, Managing Director Sales, Marketing and Service of STILL GmbH in Hamburg, the latest announcement from Deutsche Messe AG. STILL itself recently cancelled their participation in the intralogistics trade fair LogiMAT.

STILL traditionally participates at the HANNOVER MESSE with a very extensive trade fair programme. Whether and how this can be realised at the new date in July will be examined by the company and their partners over the next few days. "In order for a trade fair appearance such as the one we offer visitors of the HANNOVER MESSE to function smoothly, many factors must be perfectly coordinated. Before we can confirm our participation in July, we need to clarify the dates, availability and resources for the new event date," explains Fischer.

STILL is engaged in a constructive exchange with Deutsche Messe AG and will announce their decision regarding participation in July as soon as possible.
